Gone Missing

It may be my parental antennas are just a bit more tuned in to these missing-kid (and others) stories, but there seems to be a lot of people getting lost. (For example, brides, scouts, neighborhood kids, and a recent high school grad).

In some cases, relatively normal, though a bit risky, behavior has led to tragic results. In others, though, it seems that the media is shining its spotlight on persons, slightly off-balanced, who don't need or really want the attention.
