Friend of Friend's Travels, Travails - Adopts

A friend of a friend is adopting a baby from China. My friend has been asking for prayer for her friend (and neighbor) through various trials including her friend's cancer, cancer recurrence, still another recurrence, loss of health insurance (despite being "covered" by her husband's employer), experimental treatment, stem cell treatment (or something like that), and a quest for (to?) motherhood.

My friend has been mentioning her friend nearly every Sunday during concerns/joys time in Sunday school - oh, for at least a couple of years. We haven't gotten to the point of saying, well, enough already, we remember...but most of us have thought it at least once I'm guessing or supposing. It's not enough already though.

Tenacity, persistence, contrariness, and risk-taking -- they make a great story and the friend of a friend is a great storyteller.
